Bio

Hiya. I'm Leslie Robinson. I was born in New Jersey, raised in New Hampshire, and currently live in Washington. Despite my connection to the coasts, I'm also partial to the states in between.

I've been a freelance writer for approximately forever. My work has run in publications like The Seattle Times, The Philadelphia Inquirer, the Chicago Tribune, The Dallas Morning News, and Cosmopolitan.

For about a decade, I wrote a biweekly humor column for LGBTQ newspapers and magazines around the country, including Seattle Gay News, Dallas Voice, (Michigan) Between The Lines, Philadelphia Gay News, (Minnesota) Lavender Magazine, (North Carolina) Q-Notes and South Florida Gay News. When I stopped writing the "General Gayety" column, I experienced a none-too-attractive withdrawal. There was nothing else for it:  the General Gayety blog was born.
