Well, I'm in pain. I just learned one of my personal heroes has died.
I first heard Gloria Steinem speak when I was in high school, approximately 6,000 years ago. Her guts, her humor, her ability to voice what hadn't been voiced before—all of it made a deep impression on me.
In tribute, I give her the last word: "The truth will set you free, but first it will piss you off."
